Wow! Has it ever been awhile since I posted! Sorry about that :) I have been so busy, which is a great thing, until it's not. Work is great, but too much work can be overwhelming. I have been up to so much, but will get into all of that in another post! For now, I'm sharing my latest custom job with you all.
My client needed some desk space for her two adorable little girls, so we designed something that would work perfect in the loft upstairs next to their bedrooms. Two sitting spaces and wide open shelves for storage and decorating. Here is my plan design before we got started.
My design consisted of two base cabinets, left open, with a scroll designed valence on each one. Large Support Corbels, and a 5 1/2 ft. hutch for storage and display.
Once we had our initial plan down, we ended up turning the second computer tower cabinet into more open shelving.

I built everything out of solid wood and plywood. And a lot of glue, nails, and screws! ;) Then there was a lot of sanding and spackling to make sure everything was prepped perfectly for paint.
And here is our finished Custom Built Desk & Hutch installed!
And that's it for this project! My client will be sending me a picture once she has it set up and decorated, and I'll be sure share it and update this post! Thank you for stopping by and have a great week!
